Spanish monarchy royal visit Ceuta Melilla autonomous cities

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are scheduled to visit the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla on October 13 and 14. The Spanish Royal House announced the trip following consultations with the government.

This marks the first time Felipe VI will visit both cities as Head of State. It is also the first royal visit to these territories since November 2007, when King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía traveled to the region.
