Spanish Local Festivals Kick Off Summer in Mollerussa and Calonge

The fifth edition of the Festival Minúscul opened on Thursday, August 6 in Mollerussa, featuring singer Raquel Lúa promoting her new album "Peinar Raíces" alongside performances by Ferran Palau, Helena de Ángeles x Oskar RD, and a concert by poet Josep Pedrals with pianist Xavi Lloses. Tickets are priced at five euros and sold at the venue's café.

Meanwhile, the third edition of the Festival Riures concluded on Sunday in Calonge's Parc del Collet, where the comedy duo Fel Faixedas and Carles Xuriguerra (known as Xurixedes) presented their new show "Un xou no fa istiu". The event attracted full houses and showcased a range of acts including Marc Sarrats, Judit Martín, Jordi LP, and the magician Andreu, drawing positive audience reactions.

Both festivals highlight the vibrant summer cultural scene in Catalonia, offering music, poetry, and comedy to local audiences.
