Spanish Love Songs announce new album ‘FUTURE NAUSEA’

Los Angeles punk band Spanish Love Songs has announced their fifth studio album, ‘FUTURE NAUSEA’, scheduled for release on November 6 via Pure Noise Records. The band has also released the lead single, ‘Good American’.

Produced by Chris Walla and Sarah Tudzin, the upcoming record aims for a large-scale rock sound inspired by heartland rock artists such as Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty. Despite the potential for major-key melodies, the album is expected to feature dark, political subject matter.

Vocalist and guitarist Dylan Slocum described the new single, ‘Good American’, as an angry critique of the military complex and the way institutions can abandon individuals once they are no longer deemed useful. The album is expected to explore themes ranging from right-wing extremism to political anxiety.
