Spanish lower‑division clubs launch new season

CD Calahorra opened its 2023‑24 campaign with a large squad announcement, emphasizing continuity with the club’s traditional roots and a focus on youth development. The roster includes goalkeeper Darío Ramos, defender Víctor López, and several other players across the defensive, midfield and attacking lines.

Meanwhile, CF La Solana began pre‑season training under newly appointed coach Juan Carlos Peñalver. The team, competing in the Tercera Federación, aims first to secure its place in the division and later to progress higher. Peñalver highlighted the importance of work ethic, identity and competitiveness, while the club’s management stressed the goal of permanence.
