Spanish Medical Cycling Championship held in Córdoba

The 2026 Spanish Medical Cycling Championship was held in Córdoba, organized by the Official College of Physicians of Córdoba. The event brought together medical professionals from across Spain to compete on a 77-kilometer course with a total elevation gain of 1,050 meters.

The competition included various male and female categories, such as Elite, Master 30, 40, 50, and 60. A new Master 70 category was also introduced to recognize older competitive cyclists.

Among the notable participants from the Alicante Medical College, Dr. Miguel Ángel Asensio won the silver medal in the male Elite category. Dr. Cristina Tercero earned bronze in the female Master 40 category, and Dr. Juan Quiles secured bronze in the male Master 50 category.
