Spanish Michelin-Linked Restaurant Masía Set to Open in Dallas

Houston-based Arrels Hospitality Concepts, the group behind the Michelin-starred BCN Taste & Tradition and MAD, announced the launch of Masía, a Spanish fine‑dining restaurant inspired by a Catalan farmhouse. The venue will open at 2530 Fairmount Street in Uptown Dallas during the winter of 2026‑2027.

The 3,500‑square‑foot space will seat 86 guests inside and 20 on a patio, with interior design by Dallas‑based Gensler Architects featuring natural wood, stone and a muted palette. Founder Ignacio "Nacho" Torras, a Barcelona native, aims to blend refined Spanish cuisine with Texas ingredients, creating a warm, home‑like atmosphere.

The kitchen will be led by chef Lenin Busquet, whose résumé includes head‑chef roles at two‑Michelin‑starred Annua and the Michelin‑starred Ment in Spain. The restaurant’s name, Masía, refers to the traditional Catalan farmhouse that traditionally served as the center of rural community life.
