Spanish military units conduct specialized operations and equipment tests

The Special Operations Command (MOE) has scheduled a series of military exercises in the vicinity of Alcoi and surrounding municipalities in Spain for the second half of October. These maneuvers will involve the deployment of ground personnel and aerial resources to simulate various operational scenarios, including reconnaissance, intervention, and extraction tasks. The exercises aim to maintain and improve the unit's capabilities for both international missions and rapid response in crisis situations.

In related developments regarding specialized mobility, the Almogávares Paratrooper Brigade (BRIPAC) is evaluating the use of semi-dismountable electric motorcycles for its Special Reconnaissance Company (CRAV). The use of electric propulsion is intended to reduce noise and increase discretion during deep territory insertions. These compact electric vehicles are being tested for their ability to be deployed via air or parachute, providing autonomous, long-range movement for high-altitude paratroopers.
