Spanish ministers criticize Ceuta leadership and judiciary

Spanish Ministers Óscar López and Óscar Puente have issued coordinated criticisms regarding the situation in Ceuta. Puente accused the president of Ceuta, Juan Vivas, of failing to collaborate with the government during the ongoing migration crisis.

In parallel, López questioned the actions of the Ceuta leadership, suggesting they do not adequately address the city's current situation. These statements coincided with the Audiencia Nacional's decision to temporarily halt the installation of a camp at the port of Ceuta.

Both ministers also directed criticism toward the judiciary. López referred to certain judges as ‘lone wolves,’ while Puente questioned the role of specific magistrates and called for them to be ‘put in their place.’
