Spanish Ministry of Defence tenders solar plant for Madrid headquarters
The Spanish Ministry of Defence has opened a tender for the installation of a 133.2 kW self-consumption photovoltaic plant at its headquarters on Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid. The project has a budget of 212,292 euros and an estimated execution period of two months.
The installation will utilize a combination of flat and inclined roofs to accommodate the building's morphology without altering its structural configuration. The technical design specifies the use of 196 JA Solar modules of 600 Wp each, totaling a peak power of 117.6 kWp. The system will also include two 66.6 kW SolarEdge inverters and 196 SolarEdge power optimizers. The plant is designed to operate without exporting surplus energy to the grid, focusing entirely on meeting the internal electricity demand of the building.
