Spanish Motocross and Cycling season updates

The 2026 Spanish Motocross Championship has concluded, with Jana Sánchez (Yamaha) securing the MX Women's title. Sánchez clinched the championship during the final round in Talavera de la Reina, finishing second in the first heat to maintain her points lead over Daniela Guillén and Carmen López.

In the MX 125 category, Oleguer Riba claimed the championship title with a dominant performance, winning both heats of the final race. Carlos Martín and Jorge Salvador rounded out the podium for the day.

Separately, the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) has approved the 2027 Spanish Road Cup calendar. The schedule features 34 races across the Elite/U23, Women's, Junior, and Master categories, running from February 20 to August 11. The season is set to begin on February 28 with the 61st Circuito del Guadiana in Badajoz.
