Spanish municipalities announce 2026/2027 sports programs

Municipalities in Spain are launching their sports programming for the 2026/2027 academic year.

In Don Benito, the Municipal Sports Delegation (DMD) is offering 2,935 spots for various activities. The program includes 2,266 spots for adults and 669 for children, covering aquatic activities and indoor sports. Registrations will open progressively starting September 28 via the dmd.donbenito.es platform, with specific dates assigned to different categories such as therapeutic activities, yoga, Pilates, and aquatic sessions.

Puerto Lumbreras has expanded its sports offering to 16 different modalities. The available disciplines include athletics, basketball, handball, boxing, cycling, football, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, kickboxing, swimming, skating, tennis, and volleyball. Local clubs, such as Club Atletismo Nogalte and Club Baloncesto Lumbreras, are also coordinating specific schools for children and various age categories.
