Puebla government rehabilitates 29.6 km of roads

The Government of the State of Puebla, through the Secretariat of Infrastructure, has completed the rehabilitation of 29.6 kilometers of communication routes. This initiative, part of the Minor Maintenance Program for State and Municipal Roads, included intensive work such as pothole repair, weeding, and the cleaning of gutters and sewers.

In the metropolitan area, crews applied hot asphalt mix to repair 8,953 potholes across 155 streets in 86 neighborhoods within the municipalities of Puebla, San Andrés Cholula, Acajete, Amozoc, and Nealtican. Additionally, 8,880 potholes were addressed across 32 streets in 12 municipalities in the state's interior, including Chignahuapan, Teziutlán, Tecamachalco, Atlixco, Izúcar de Matamoros, Acatlán, Tehuacán, Ajalpan, and Tlatlauquitepec.

These efforts are aligned with the federal “Senderos de Paz” program to ensure efficient and safe travel. The works were carried out with support from President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardoy and utilized supplies donated by Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX).
