Spanish municipalities announce new seasonal municipal courses
Municipalities in Spain have announced new seasonal offerings for local courses and workshops.
Amorebieta-Etxano has released its ‘Zornotzan’ guide, detailing activities scheduled for the coming months. Enrollment periods vary by program, with some starting in September and others continuing through October. The curriculum covers diverse areas including equality, Basque language (Euskera), social care, sports, and culture. Specific programs include cognitive health sessions, traditional African percussion, and the Benetakoak program focused on self-esteem. Additionally, the Nagusi Aretoa program offers activities for those over 60, such as theater, chess, and new technology workshops.
Guadarrama’s Culture Department is also launching a new season of workshops. The curriculum includes traditional subjects like leatherwork, sewing, and painting, alongside new additions such as creative digital photography and autofiction. These workshops are designed for all ages and aim to provide both leisure and educational opportunities through professional instruction.
