Spanish municipalities announce new subsidies for local non-profits
Several Spanish municipalities have announced new subsidy programs for local non-profit organizations for the 2026 period.
In Burriana, the City Council has allocated 15,000 euros to support non-profit entities working with vulnerable groups. Eligible projects include those serving minors, families, the elderly, people with disabilities, and those with chronic illnesses. To qualify, organizations must have at least one year of experience and demonstrate a direct impact on the local population. Applications must be submitted electronically within 15 business days of the official publication in the Provincial Bulletin of Castellón.
In Tui, the City Council is providing 63,600 euros in municipal funds. This budget is split between cultural associations, which will receive 42,200 euros (with a 7,000 euro limit per group), and parent-teacher associations, which will receive 21,400 euros. Subsidies will cover up to 80% of eligible project costs. The application period for Tui runs from August 27 to September 10.
