Spanish municipalities announce urban and playground improvements

Municipalities in Spain are implementing various urban improvement projects focused on public spaces and community facilities.

In Fuenlabrada, the City Council has launched a 920,000 euro campaign to upgrade 14 children's play areas. The nine-month project aims to provide shade to six areas that previously lacked it and includes the installation of rubber flooring and modernized equipment. Some spaces will be repurposed into bio-health zones or areas for adolescents, including a new ‘ninja’ circuit in the El Vivero neighborhood.

In El Puerto, Mayor Germán Beardo announced the creation of a new playground in the Los Madrileños neighborhood. This initiative is part of a broader series of local improvements, which also include expanding parking areas, installing new signage, repairing flooring near community centers, and completing a new access roundabout to improve neighborhood circulation.
