Spanish municipalities launch educational arts and music programs
Municipalities in Spain are implementing various cultural initiatives to integrate the performing arts and music into local school curricula.
In Soto del Real, the local government has renewed its participation in the Circuito Audaces program. This initiative aims to connect children and young people with disciplines such as theater, dance, and circus. The program includes diverse offerings, such as the play ‘Historia de una muñeca abandonada’ by Teatro Silfo, which includes a workshop on creating art from reclaimed wood, and the award-winning dance piece ‘Únicos’ by Date Danza.
In Valga and Pontecesures, the Valga Municipal Music School is conducting didactic concerts to foster musical interest among youth. A recent concert held at the Municipal Auditorium hosted approximately 500 students from various primary and infant education centers, as well as participants from the Occupational Center for People with Disabilities (CODI).
