Spanish municipalities launch free youth activity programs

Several municipalities in Spain are launching free leisure programs for young people during October and November.

In Santander, the Espacio Joven is introducing a new cycle of midweek activities aimed at individuals aged 15 to 30. The program includes sign language courses, creative writing workshops, a reading club, dance classes, and role-playing sessions. Specific workshops such as theatrical improvisation and short film production require prior online registration.

In A Guarda, the OMIX is implementing the ‘Tardeo’ program, which offers five free workshops in collaboration with local associations. Activities include billiards, sneaker customization, cold porcelain crafting, makeup, and floral decoration. These sessions are primarily designed for those aged 14 to 30, though other age groups may participate if spaces remain available.
