Spanish municipalities launch local commerce discount programs

Several Spanish municipalities are launching discount voucher programs to stimulate local commerce during the autumn season.

In El Burgo de Osma, the City Council has allocated 150,000 euros for the ‘Bonos Burgosma Otoño 2026’ campaign. The initiative will distribute 25,000 vouchers worth six euros each between November 2 and December 13, 2026. Registered residents can receive up to 42 euros in total discounts, while non-residents can access up to 12 euros. Each voucher requires a minimum purchase of 24 euros.

Similarly, the City Council of Oviedo is reintroducing its ‘Bonos Comercio’ starting October 1. The program offers a 10-euro discount for every 30 euros spent at participating local businesses. These vouchers can be redeemed through November 22, aiming to boost consumer activity in the city's local establishments.
