Spanish municipalities launch new social service projects
Municipalities in Spain are launching new social service initiatives. In La Vall d'Uixó, the local government has introduced CRIA, an innovative project funded by the European Social Fund. The program aims to support families during child-rearing, focusing on healthy development, parental skills, and neurodevelopment through workshops on topics such as nutrition, sensory exploration, and setting boundaries.
In Castelserás, the City Council has awarded a contract to Udda Arquitectura to design a new elderly care residence and day center. The project, estimated to cost approximately 1.85 million euros, will provide 22 places for seniors. The facility will feature a main building for residents and common areas, alongside an annex for logistics and staff, utilizing sustainable aerothermal climate control systems.
