Spanish municipalities launch new tourism and heritage initiatives

Spanish municipalities Tomelloso and La Laguna are implementing new initiatives to promote local tourism and cultural heritage.

In Tomelloso, the local government has launched a new tourism identity under the slogan ‘Posada, Vid y Cultura’ (Inn, Vine, and Culture). The visual identity is inspired by the architectural heritage of the city, specifically the wooden columns of the Posada de los Portales. The initiative aims to highlight the town's history, wine production, and tradition of hospitality.

Meanwhile, La Laguna is expanding its tourism offerings with two new routes: ‘La Laguna. Viaje al Pasado’ and ‘Tejina. La tierra que late’. These routes are designed to connect residents and visitors with the municipality's landscape, agriculture, and traditions. The ‘Viaje al Pasado’ route will utilize technology to provide interpretive experiences of the heritage in San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
