Algeciras restores support for Julia Guerra Poetry Contest
The City Council of Algeciras has resumed its institutional support for the ‘Julia Guerra’ Social Poetry Contest following meetings with representatives from the Ateneo Republicano del Campo de Gibraltar.
The contest, which aims to promote social poetry and artistic creation, will be open to residents of Spain over the age of 18. Submissions can be sent via email between October 1 and December 15. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 2027. Local officials noted that this collaboration is intended to increase the visibility and reach of the competition.
