Spanish municipalities open hospitality tenders for upcoming festivals

The Oviedo City Council has issued detailed specifications for a hospitality service at the La Ería venue, where vendors will be allowed to set up tables, chairs and vending stalls for the "Molan los 90" festival and other concerts. Bids must be submitted by 31 July, and the winning contractor must have at least three years of experience with large‑scale events. Price caps are imposed: water up to €2, soft drinks €3, a 50 cL beer no more than €5 and mixed drinks up to €8.50, with no extra charges for ice or service.

Separately, the Ayuntamiento de Ciudad Rodrigo has opened a public tender for the management of four bar counters and a municipal kiosk during the 25th Feria del Caballo, scheduled for 18‑20 September. Applications are due by 31 July, and applicants must be licensed hospitality operators with civil‑liability insurance of at least €100,000. The contract prohibits any resale or sub‑letting of the awarded spaces.

Both tenders aim to ensure quality service, safety and affordable prices for attendees of these regional festivals.
