Spanish municipalities selected for 2027 cycling events

Amorebieta-Etxano has been officially confirmed as a stage finish for the 2027 Itzulia Basque Country cycling race. The agreement was signed by the local City Council and OCETA, marking the first confirmed venue for the upcoming edition of the competition.

In a separate announcement, the municipality of Otura will host the start of the fourth stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a Andalucía on February 20, 2027. Local officials noted that the event, which is broadcast in 180 countries, provides a significant opportunity to promote the region and stimulate the local economy through tourism, hospitality, and services.
