Spanish music updates: Jorge Atienza concert and Antonio Vega biography

Musician Jorge Atienza is scheduled to perform at Sala Marearock in Alicante on September 25 as part of his ‘Volver a despertar Tour’. The concert will feature songs from his latest EP released in March, as well as previous compositions such as ‘24 de junio’ and ‘Dibujé’. Atienza noted that his recent release strategy involves releasing songs individually to ensure each track receives proper attention.

In Valencia, the book ‘Antonio Vega. Entre el espacio y el tiempo’ will be presented on September 12. Authored by Jordi Tormo, the biography explores the artistic evolution and emotional depth of the influential Spanish musician known for hits like ‘La chica de ayer’. The event includes a presentation by Manuel Pinazo and musical tributes by the group Apolo, featuring poems and unpublished texts from Vega.
