Spanish musical artists scheduled for upcoming cultural concert series

Several prominent musical artists are scheduled to perform as part of various cultural cycles in Spain.

As part of the ‘1001 Músicas – CaixaBank’ cycle, the flamenco quartet Las Migas will perform ‘Flamencas’ at the Palacio de Quinta Alegre on Thursday, September 10. The group, which has won two Latin Grammys, will present a contemporary take on essential flamenco styles. Following them, violinist Ara Malikian will perform his show ‘Intruso’ at the Plaza de Toros in Granada on Sunday.

In Cádiz, the ‘Flamenco en la Terraza’ cycle at the Fundación Unicaja will conclude on September 10 with a performance by Niño de Elche. The singer will present ‘Cante a lo gitano’, a project that reinterprets the legacy of Manuel Torre through a blend of traditional flamenco and experimental practices.
