Emergency services manage fires and major security operations in multiple regions

Multiple regions are managing significant emergency and security operations. In the Dominican Republic, approximately 70 brigadistas, including park rangers and military personnel, are working to extinguish a reactivated forest fire in Valle Nuevo National Park. High winds and difficult terrain have complicated efforts, leading to a temporary closure of the protected area.

In Spain, authorities are managing various incidents. In Castellón, firefighters have controlled a resurgence of a previous fire in La Vall d'Uixó. Simultaneously, the National Police have deployed over 70 agents to provide security for the 81st edition of the La Vuelta cycling race, utilizing specialized units and aerial surveillance with drones to protect participants and spectators.

In Paraguay, a massive security and health operation is underway for the Rally Paraguay in Itapúa. This includes the deployment of over 4,000 police officers and 44 ambulances to ensure safety and medical coverage for the thousands of expected visitors during the international sporting event.
