Spanish organic vegetable prices rise amid limited supply
Prices for organic vegetables sourced from Spain have increased by approximately 15 to 20 per cent compared to 2025, according to Richard Soepenberg of the Málaga-based company Somos Bio.
The company, which specializes in sourcing Spanish organic fruit and vegetables for the European market, reports that supplies from Spanish growers are currently limited. This scarcity has been noted at trade fairs, where companies report having less surplus stock available for sale.
While Somos Bio supplies products throughout Europe, the majority of its sales are concentrated in the German market. The company's product range includes organic cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, and oranges.
