Spanish photography exhibitions debut in Avilés and Andalusia

The National Center of Photography (CNF), under the Ministry of Culture, has presented the exhibition ‘Constelaciones fotográficas. Pensar desde las imágenes’ at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés. This exhibition marks the first public presentation of the CNF collection since its inception, featuring 102 works by 38 artists to represent contemporary Spanish photography. The collection includes works from all National Photography Prize winners to date, alongside prominent voices from newer generations.

In Andalusia, the Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía (CAF) is inaugurating ‘Las curvas de la mente’ by documentary photographer Nuria López Torres. The project, which follows five years of research, explores mental health through human and social perspectives, addressing sensitive topics such as fear, violence, addiction, and the psychological risks of digital screen use in adolescents. The exhibition is scheduled to run from October 10 until January 24, 2027.
