Spain police conduct multiple arrests for arson, theft, and illegal migration
Spanish law enforcement agencies have conducted several operations resulting in multiple arrests across the country. In Granada, a 47-year-old man was detained for allegedly burning 28 containers in Sevilla, causing over 32,500 euros in damages.
In Melilla, during 'Operación Feriante', authorities located 71 migrants attempting to travel to mainland Spain by hiding in fairground attractions, trucks, and trailers. This operation aimed to prevent irregular travel and the associated physical risks.
Other criminal activities reported include the arrest of a Georgian national in Alicante linked to robberies, a man in Arrecife facing his fifth arrest of the year for a violent mobile phone robbery, and the investigation of three individuals for causing a major forest fire in Fermoselle that destroyed 10,000 hectares. Additionally, four individuals were arrested in Alicante for the theft of 50,000 euros from a business in Morón de la Frontera.
