Spanish police bust 2,500‑kg hash stash; Dutch police seize drugs and firearm
Spanish authorities dismantled a hidden storage site in Huelva province that contained more than 2,500 kg of hashish, three stolen cars and a small cache of firearms. Investigators said the stash was part of a larger smuggling network that uses the Guadiana River and fast boats to bring large drug shipments into Europe.
In the Netherlands, police in Almere arrested two women after a tip led officers to a vehicle in the Muziekwijk district. The women were found with multiple bags of hard drugs—including heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine, MDMA and GHB—and a firearm hidden in a child’s backpack. Subsequent searches of two Amsterdam homes uncovered additional drugs.
