Spanish police dismantle multiple drug farms and sale points
The Guardia Civil and Policía Nacional carried out a series of operations across Spain, targeting indoor cannabis farms, drug‑sale locations and illicit drug stockpiles. In Las Torres de Cotillas (Murcia) two indoor cannabis plantations with roughly 500 plants were seized and the owners arrested. A separate raid in the Sierra de Enguera destroyed 2,440 cannabis plants. In Santa Catalina (Mallorca) police recovered more than 33 amphetamine monodoses, 30 g of ketamine, MDMA tablets and LSD from a garage stash.
In the Madrid neighbourhood of Velluters, officers confiscated about 400 g of high‑potency “wax”, 2 kg of marijuana, 1 kg of hashish and €2,000 in cash. Two cocaine‑sale points were also shut in Puente de Vallecas (Madrid), yielding 42.5 g of cocaine, €4,500 and an electric stun baton. A drug‑distribution house in Agost (Alicante) yielded 65 g of cocaine, 350 g each of hashish and marijuana and almost €14,000. A scooter rider in Torreforta (Tarragona) was found with 11.8 g ketamine, 3.22 g MDMA and 0.54 g LSD. In León, police seized over 150 doses of crystal, stone base and marijuana. Finally, a large operation in Estepa and Osuna (Seville) seized 4,881 cannabis plants and eight kilograms of processed marijuana, along with cash and equipment. Hundreds of suspects were detained or placed under investigation.
