Spanish police dismantle large marijuana farm and seize cocaine stash in separate raids

The Mossos d'Esquadra in Catalonia raided a residence in Roquetes, discovering an indoor marijuana plantation with 523 plants and equipment worth more than €54,000. A 35‑year‑old man was arrested on charges of health‑related drug offences and illegal electricity use, with the fraud estimated at over €46,000.

In Madrid, municipal police stopped an electric scooter travelling the wrong way in the Puente de Vallecas district. A 23‑year‑old Spanish woman was detained after officers found 50 g of cocaine packaged in 270 small doses hidden in her bag. The scooter’s 28‑year‑old Colombian driver, subject to a prior expulsion order, claimed ignorance of the drugs. Both suspects were placed in police custody pending judicial proceedings.
