Spanish police dismantle family drug trafficking ring in Almassora

National Police officers in Almassora, Castellón, Spain, carried out a raid on a family‑run drug‑selling operation. Six search warrants were executed, leading to the arrest of five clan members – two men aged 50 and 29 and three women aged 31, 27 and 47.

Investigators seized 540 g of marijuana buds, cash amounting to €2,865, extensive indoor‑cultivation equipment, and a vehicle. The premises contained two indoor grow rooms illegally connected to the electrical supply. The detainees were charged with offenses against public health, participation in a criminal group, and illegal electricity use.

The operation involved the Provincial Brigade of Judicial Police and the Citizen Security unit of the Castellón police station, supported by the canine guide unit of the Valencian Community’s superior headquarters. The five suspects have been placed at the disposal of the courts.
