Spanish political parties reveal candidates for November 29 general elections

Major Spanish political parties have begun finalizing their candidate lists for the general elections scheduled for November 29. The People's Party (PP) has confirmed several key leadership roles, including Alberto Núñez Feijóo leading the Madrid list alongside Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo and Borja Sémper. In Valencia, María José Catalá will head the PP list for the Congress, while Elena Albalat will lead the candidacy for Castellón. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Gustavo González de Vega is set to lead the PP list.

In other regions, the PP has named Montserrat Chimeno as the head of the list for Zamora and Raquel Oliver for Cuenca. For Vox, candidates include Manuel Fuentes for A Coruña, Jacobo González-Robatto for Granada, and a trio for Aragon consisting of Carmen Rouco (Zaragoza), Ester Blanco (Huesca), and Daniel Alda (Teruel). Additionally, Iván Vélez will lead the Vox list in Cuenca.

Coalition movements are also evident, such as the agreement between the PSOE and Frente Amplio in Cantabria to present a joint Senate list led by Paz de la Cuesta. In Bizkaia, projections suggest EH Bildu could increase its representation to three deputies, potentially becoming the leading force in the territory, while the Frente Amplio is expected to lose its single seat.
