Mental health and social issues addressed in regional workshops and congresses

Various regional initiatives are focusing on mental health, bullying prevention, and gender equality. In Gualeguay, Argentina, the Mental Health Directorate, in collaboration with the Association E. A. Bavio and the Rocamora Institute, held workshops led by psychopedagogue María Zysman to address bullying and cyberbullying among students and educators.

In Chascomús, Argentina, Mayor Javier Gastón met with representatives from the Fundación Creando la Libertad to organize the Third Community Mental Health Congress, scheduled for November. This event aims to promote public policy exchange regarding crisis intervention and community-based practices.

In Spain, the V National Congress on Communication regarding Gender Violence and Equality will be held in Puebla de la Calzada on November 5-6. Organized by the Diputación de Badajoz, the congress will examine how media representation influences social perceptions of machista violence and gender inequality.
