Spanish property firms Hestia and Casa 47 commit over €158 million to tourism and housing projects
Hestia Inversión Patrimonial announced plans to invest more than €18 million in Seville to acquire and refurbish existing buildings for tourist use. The group aims to convert structures in historic areas such as Santa Cruz, Triana and near the museum into hotel, accommodation or mixed‑use assets, citing a market shift toward more professionalised and regulated tourism models and limited availability of new land.
Casa 47's board approved an €140 million contribution to the Nuevo Barrio Campamento redevelopment in Madrid. The project will transform a former military site covering about 211 ha into 10,700 new homes, with 25 % of the land allocated to residential use and the remaining 75 % dedicated to public spaces, green areas and community facilities. Total investment is projected at €750 million, with completion targeted for the end of 2027, and the neighbourhood will become part of the state‑run affordable‑housing portfolio.
