Spanish public figures highlight real estate portfolios
Various Spanish public figures are highlighting their real estate portfolios as a primary source of wealth and stability.
Former footballer Carlos Carbonell Gil, known as 'Tropi', has transitioned from professional sports to real estate. Now 31, he owns 14 properties, which provide him with a steady stream of rental income that allows him to live off his assets. His strategy involved acquiring multiple properties at a young age, contrasting with the current housing crisis facing many young Spaniards.
Similarly, artist Mario Vaquerizo has expressed a strong belief in 'brick' investments over investment funds. He maintains a significant portfolio in Madrid, including six properties on Gran Vía, commercial premises, and a country house in Boadilla del Monte. Vaquerizo noted that his interest in Gran Vía real estate began in childhood and remains a central part of his financial strategy.
