Spanish regional administrations announce new public employment openings

Public administration bodies in Spain have announced significant new job openings through civil service examinations.

The Diputación de Huelva has called for 44 permanent positions to stabilize its workforce and fill structural vacancies. The roles span various categories, including administrative assistants, technicians, and psychologists. Academic requirements vary by position, ranging from no formal qualification for general workers to university degrees for senior legal technicians. A portion of these positions is reserved for individuals with general or intellectual disabilities. The application period is scheduled to run from August 20 through September 16, 2026.

In the Basque Country, the Basque Government has published a new public employment offer consisting of 461 positions within the General Administration. While these vacancies are part of a major recruitment drive for the autonomous administration, they are distinct from positions within the education or health sectors. Specific registration dates and detailed requirements for each individual body or scale will be released through subsequent official publications.
