Spanish regional authorities implement rural infrastructure and agricultural aid
Regional authorities in Spain are implementing various support measures for rural infrastructure and sectors. In Castilla-La Mancha, Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos supervised the installation of climate control systems at the CRA Ribera del Júcar school in Alcalá del Júcar. The project includes air conditioning in all classrooms to improve educational environments, while the Las Eras school has added solar panels to achieve energy self-sufficiency.
In Andalusia, officials met in Utrera to discuss agricultural support following recent flooding. The Junta de Andalucía has allocated 13,131,089 euros in aid to 277 beneficiaries to compensate for damages to local farms. Discussions also focused on the necessity of repairing rural roads and supporting large-scale business projects involving companies such as Obando, Manzanilla Olive, and Semillas Valle.
