Spanish regional authorities invest in road and bridge infrastructure

Infrastructure projects are underway in Spain to improve road safety and preserve historical structures. In Mos, the Deputación de Pontevedra is investing approximately 700,000 euros to rehabilitate the Peinador-Louredo provincial road (EP-2602). The four-month project involves structural repairs to 13,660 square meters of the road surface, resurfacing over 31,000 square meters, and improving drainage through the installation of concrete safety ditches and metal barriers.

In Burgos, the Junta de Castilla y León has completed a restoration of a historic stone bridge over the Arlanza River on the BU-905 road. This project, costing over 378,000 euros, focused on preserving the bridge's historical masonry using lime mortar and reinforcing its foundations with steel. The intervention also included improvements to waterproofing, drainage, and road signaling to enhance durability and driver safety.
