Spanish regional awards honor sculptor José María Morla and Cádiz leaders

Sculptor José María Morla from Valdefresno (León) won the first prize of the 43ª Mostra d’Artesania in Altea, receiving €1,000. The jurors praised his small-format bronze figures inspired by classic literature, such as Don Quijote and Mowgli. The award ceremony was held in the Plaza de la Iglesia in Altea.

The Asociación Red Profesional #MujeresImparables announced the candidates for the 2026 Premio #HombreImparable Gaditano: tourism analyst Antonio Arcas de los Reyes, journalist Javier Benítez Zúñiga, and wine ambassador José Ferr​er Morató. The prize will be presented at the XI Gala of the network on 4 November in the Museums of the Atalaya in Jerez, linking the award to the "Mujeres en la Gastronomía Gaditana" event and the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy held in Jerez.
