Spanish regional business formation shows divergent trends in July

Data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) reveals divergent trends in business formation across Spanish regions for July. In the Comunitat Valenciana, the creation of new companies rose by 14.9% year-on-year, totaling 1,549 new commercial societies. This represents the highest July figure in the region's historical series. The subscribed capital for these new entities reached over 61.11 million euros, a 13.62% increase compared to the previous year.

In contrast, Navarra experienced a 4.5% year-on-year decline in new company formations, with 64 societies created in July. The subscribed capital in Navarra saw a significant drop of 80.6%, totaling 600,000 euros compared to 3.091 million euros in the same month the previous year. Additionally, capital expansions in Navarra fell, with 14 companies increasing capital, totaling 15.012 million euros, down from 26.888 million euros a year prior.
