Spanish regional events address food, health, and sustainability

Various regional initiatives in Spain are focusing on the intersection of nutrition, science, and public health. In Huesca, the Agroalimentary Institute of Aragon (IA2) is hosting a scientific conference titled ‘Agroalimentary, health and sustainability, the science that connects us’. The event aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and the business sector, featuring presentations on the effects of climate change on viticulture, new food processing technologies, and the relationship between diet and health.

In Ciudad Real, the Community Health Board is organizing a session titled ‘Food from all perspectives’ to mark International Occupational Therapy Day. This event focuses on an integral approach to nutrition, emphasizing its role in personal autonomy, well-being, and disease prevention. Discussions include managing eating disorders through occupational therapy and the early detection of health deterioration.
