Celta Vigo defeats Deportivo Alavés 2-1 in La Liga

Celta Vigo secured a 2-1 victory against Deportivo Alavés at the Estadio ABANCA Balaídos, marking their second win of the season. The match was characterized by tactical intensity and physical duels, with Celta struggling to break through Alavés' organized defensive structure during a scoreless first half.

Following halftime, Celta manager Claudio Giráldez implemented tactical changes, introducing Javi Rueda and Aleix Febas. The momentum shifted in the 53rd minute when Javi Rodríguez orchestrated a play that allowed Jutglà to score the opening goal. Alavés responded by increasing their offensive pressure, but Celta maintained their lead thanks to crucial saves by goalkeeper Radu, who denied several late scoring opportunities from Alavés players.

With this result, Celta Vigo has collected seven of their last nine available points, while Deportivo Alavés extends a winless streak to five matches.
