Spanish regions allocate €4.7 million for social services and affordable housing projects

The Generalitat Valenciana has approved grants totaling €2.47 million for municipalities and non‑profit organisations to rehabilitate, adapt or complete facilities that will serve as new social service centres across the Valencian community. The funding aims to expand the network of services and improve access for vulnerable populations.

In Lorca, Murcia, regional president Fernando López Miras laid the first stone for a €2.27 million development of 11 affordable rental apartments. The energy‑efficient homes, equipped with aerothermal and solar systems, target young adults, large families and people with disabilities and form part of a wider €4.3 million urban regeneration plan for the historic centre.
