Marbella is conducting a promotional mission in Munich and Hamburg to strengthen its position as a luxury tourism destination in Germany. Led by Tourism Director Laura de Arce, the initiative includes professional meetings, networking sessions, and presentations aimed at specialized agencies, operators, and media. The campaign focuses on promoting the municipality’s offerings in luxury tourism, golf, gastronomy, wellness, and congresses to encourage year-round visitation from the German market.
In Zamora, the I International Meeting ‘Mills: On the Rehabilitation and Reuse of Pre-industrial Cultural Heritage’ is being held at the Fundación Real Alfonso Henriques. The event brings together experts and institutional representatives from Spain and Germany, including participants from Berlin, Brandenburg, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The meeting focuses on the restoration of historical mills and water mills, exploring sustainable uses such as clean hydroelectric energy, tourism, and educational cultural routes to preserve industrial heritage.
