Spanish residents protest housing shortages and local infrastructure plans

In Cádiz, members of Espacio Mujeres and local neighborhood movements protested at the City Council entrance to demand solutions for the housing crisis. Demonstrators covered the entrance with handwritten messages highlighting the urgent need for social housing and criticizing the current administration's response to families and minors facing homelessness.

In Tenerife, approximately 200 residents of El Pris in Tacoronte marched to protest a proposed emergency project by the Cabildo de Tenerife. The neighbors reject a 1.5 million euro plan to manage rainwater runoff following storm damage, arguing that the project is a temporary fix that does not address the source of the flooding. The El Pris-El Sargo association is advocating for an alternative technical proposal they claim is more effective and economical.
