Spanish Royal Family concludes summer break
The Spanish Royal Family is concluding their summer break as the two princesses prepare for separate academic paths. Princess Leonor is returning to Madrid to begin her university studies at Carlos III University in Getafe.
Infanta Sofía is relocating to Paris to pursue her second year of Political Science and International Relations at Forward College, an institution affiliated with the University of London. She is expected to arrive in Paris two weeks early to participate in an integration program at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.
Regarding the royal summer holidays, reports suggest King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia may have traveled to Greece. While Zarzuela Palace has not officially confirmed the location or the travelers, the movement of an official Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft from the Balearic Islands to Greece on August 13 has fueled speculation. One potential location identified is a luxury villa in the Bay of Doroufi, near Porto Heli, which is owned by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.
