Spanish Royal Family returns to Madrid after private vacation

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain have concluded their private summer vacation. Following a period of rest, the royal family reportedly traveled from Greece to the Balearic Islands and subsequently to Madrid.

During their break, the monarchs remained engaged with national issues, including participating via videoconference in the State Committee for Coordination and Direction of the State Emergency Plan to monitor forest fires. They also used social media to pay tribute to Javier García Sancho, a member of the Military Emergencies Unit who died during firefighting efforts in Huesca.
