Spanish schools hold hands‑on environmental workshops for students

Students from the Instituto José Luis López Aranguren in Ávila took part in an interdisciplinary field day at Navas de Oro, where they examined traditional resin production and the primary and secondary economic sectors, with a focus on forest and environmental issues.

Separately, the Municipal Agroecological School in Alovera reopened its gardens to pupils from local schools, providing guided tours and workshops on planting, crop varieties, and sustainable garden management. Both programmes aim to link young people with agriculture, ecology and natural‑resource stewardship.
